Job Title: Graphics Designer (12 month contract)

Location: Downtown Toronto

Reporting to: Marketing Manager

Position Overview
The role of the Graphic Designer will be to deliver a variety of digital and print tactical creative executions including but not limited to website creative, digital assets for paid and social media, print collateral, in - store signage, window installations and displays. He / she will need to have a strong understanding of global UNIQLO brand standards and be able to work cross functionally with teams across marketing, e-commerce, and store.

Key Responsibilities
- Produce attractive, effective, and on brand executions for all media
- Work with existing global creative assets (provided by Global Headquarters team) and adapt for local market as required
- Create assets for various activities such as store openings, instore events and product promotions
- Communicate with team members across Canadian organization and global to receive feedback
- Produce consistent work that lives up to brand standards regardless of project size
- Reformat, resize, and tweak existing creative as needed
- Other responsibilities as needed

Desired Skills and Experiences
- Minimum 2-3 years of working experience as a graphic designer
- Strong skills in the following creative suite
- InDesign
- Illustrator
- Photoshop
- Strong working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Knowledge of G-Suite products
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment and adaptable to new changes
- Must be able to effectively communicate and collaborate with other departments to find solutions to achieve common goals
- Ability to meet deadlines in a high pressure environment
- Excellent project manager and ability to juggle multiple projects at once / reprioritize deadlines as needed
- Accuracy and attention to detail when finalizing designs
- Passion for the fashion industry
- Working knowledge of nuances between needs of print and digital creative
