As Product Designer II, you will be working with the product management and engineering teams to create, refine, and document designs of desktop software to build consistent end-to-end user experiences across different product offerings of the FLASH navigation system. We are looking for someone who can both collaborate closely with the team when designing solutions and work independently when executing on them. Essential Functions And Responsibilities
The following are the essential functions of this position. This position may be responsible for performing additional duties and tasks as needed and assigned.
- Define user stories based on business requirements, user goals, and input from engineering
- Collaborate with clinical specialists and subject matter experts to clarify and refine functional specifications for product features
- Create, revise, and document design solutions with product managers, developers, and stakeholders
- Sketch and prototype thoughtful and consistent end-to-end experiences across multiple product offerings
- Conduct design reviews based on customer interviews, peer feedback, and UX research
- Contribute to all phases of the product development lifecycle, working closely with team members from different departments
- Coordinate user acceptance testing and product validation studies

Minimum Qualifications
The requirements listed below are representative of the education, knowledge, skill and/or ability required for this position.

Education/Certifications
- Associate Degree in Interactive Design, Visual Design, Industrial Design, Product Design, or equivalent

Experience, Skills, Knowledge And/or Abilities
- You have 3+ years of working experience as a Product or UX Designer
- You can conduct and use customer research to inform your design decisions
- You are experienced with modern design and collaboration tools like Figma and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator)
- You prefer a collaborative approach to designing solutions

Preferred Qualifications
The education, knowledge, skills and/or abilities listed below are preferred qualifications in addition to the minimum qualifications stated above.

Education/Certifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Interactive Design, Visual Design, Industrial Design, Product Design, or equivalent

Additional Experience, Skills, Knowledge And/or Abilities
- Experience with creating and applying established design principles and interaction patterns
