Job description

We are looking for someone that loves to make workflows that are challenging, seem simple and intuitive, someone that really enjoys doing the research needed to know the customer personas and the jobs they do and uses this to design great experiences that delight. In this role, you will partner with Product, Engineering, and go-to-market teams to help Affinity take it's relationship-intelligence driven CRM offering and open up new business verticals in private banking and professional services.

What you'll do:
- Partner closely with your PM and Engineering to design and implement product changes that are needed to make our offerings succeed in new markets
- Research new markets, their personas and workflows, and help identify product gaps that the current product doesn't address effectively
- Partner with the design team and engineering to build design systems
- Improve and implement a design process that focuses on high quality, fast iterations
- Work cross-functionally with Product and Engineering partners to represent the design team and give feedback in planning and product channels

Qualifications:
- You have at least 3 years of experience creating best-in-class product design for a SaaS company (enterprise software experience a plus)
- You enjoy and have experience doing research with users, prospects, and competitive product offerings
- You have a compelling portfolio showcasing the breadth of your experience and can articulate the design thinking behind your work
- You have a proven track record as a designer who can own solving complex user problems
- You can design within an iterative process while working with your product manager and engineering partners
- You take pride in creating and maintaining excellent design standards, as well as championing design best practices
- You have excellent written, verbal, and storytelling skills
- You're excited about teaching, learning, and working collaboratively across teams
- You have a strong point of view and like to voice your opinions, but are eager to change them based on data
- You thrive in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment
