About The Role

Join a small and mighty team of at Supernormal working on pulling the future of work closer to the present. Each person here is responsible for saving people thousands of hours of manual work every month, and we’re just getting warmed up.

As a product designer, you’ll focus on building on and evolving our client apps including our web app, Chrome extension, and future platforms through the lens of our customers. You’ll work closely with our engineers, machine learning team, and future product designers to deliver incredible customer experiences. To be successful in this role, you should have an eye for color and shape and be able to translate requirements into practical product features. Ultimately, you will help us build products that are easy to use and visually appealing to our customers.

The company is now in a scale-up phase where both the product and team will strengthen and grow. As a product designer, you will be among the first to join and team up with one of the founders on design and contribute to the product and the company's growth journey.

What you’ll work on

• You’ll work with engineers, product managers, and other designers to deliver high-quality experiences for our customers across all of our surfaces, including Chrome extension, web app, and future platforms.
• You’ll work on setting up and developing our design system.
• You’ll work closely with founders, engineers, and other colleagues to build the team around product design.
• You’ll iterate through ideas with the founders and speak with customers to give shape to the things we build.
• You’ll approach problems through the eyes of our customers and advocate for their needs throughout the product development process.
• You’ll support product, business, and customer operations by building internal tooling when needed.
• You’ll work with our frontend engineers to build and maintain Supernormal’s design system.
• You’ll work on identifying opportunities for new products.
• You’ll work on how a new product ties in with market needs and consumer preferences.
• You’ll work setting design requirements based on briefs from internal teams and external partners.
• You’ll work on improving the design of existing products.
• You’ll work on developing and implementing product strategies consistent with the company's vision.
• You’ll work with senior management to create product plans and roadmaps.
  

Requirements

What you will bring

• 5+ years of proven experience from a similar role in a similar context
• A portfolio of demonstrated experience scaling B2B SaaS products
• Outstanding communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal abilities
• Experience building and maintaining user-centered design systems
• Experience documenting work for engineers
• Experience running user research sessions
• Strong proficiency with Figma
• Experience working in Webflow
